This is how Mye Laurell titles herself. Since the age of seven she has became accustomed to leading functions with her melodious voice, even more so while attending St Andrew High School for Girls.After graduating from St Andrew High, Laurell moved to Patterson, New Jersey and began pursuing a career in nursing, (ironic, as her given name is Laurell Nurse) but never let go of her passion to entertain

Her first single, Wanting You, is a duet with well-known producer/artiste Delly Ranx. Her second, Be Stronger, is a song addressing internalised social issues of the society.
Canada, New York, New Jersey and Florida have all, through the Internet, received her songs, giving her the opportunity to garner recognition on New Jersey's Roadblock Pump-it-or-dump-it segments, for which she received 'pump-its' on several occasions. Her voice was even mistaken in Canada as the Bad Gyal Cecile's, which Laurell accepts as a compliment.
