This child attends a school in Kingston. Her mother is irate because people keep getting her name wrong.
According to her, it's pronounced "LEDASHA". When asked how she came up with that pronunciation she said "Simple, the dash is silent."

I heard about this before and thought how stupid the woman was for thinking she was being creative. It's stuff like this that makes me want to turn in my Yard Gyal card...lol!
