Well, as one of my commentors stated in one of my posts below, bad state of affairs in Jamaica. The Half-Way-Tree police yesterday charged international reggae singer Jepther McClymont, more popularly known as Luciano, with harboring a fugitive, following investigations into a shooting incident at his house on March 25. Three police officers were reportedly injured in a two-hour stand-off between lawmen and a gunman who was inside the singer's house.
The police have since identified the man as Andrew 'Conquerer' Senior. He is believed to be about 30 and was wanted for between eight and 10 murders, the most recent being that of Gloria McLean, 65, in the Grants Pen area, several months ago. If the allegations are true, I know Luciano knows better than that. He have to find lots of money to pay off the police man dem, not to throw him in prison.

Police in the Swedish city of Uppsala say several musicians involved in this year's Uppsala Reggae Festival have been arrested in a drug bust. Police spokesperson Christer Nordstrom said several of the festival artists were involved when police obtained blood samples from nearly 50 individuals suspected of drug offenses this week.
Some of the artist that performed at this concert included, Sean Paul, Derrick Morgan, Tarrus Riley, Queen Ifrica, Luciano, Beenie Man and Irie Love to name a few.
TMZ has reported that Sean Paul was brought from the huge Uppsala Reggae Festival to a local police station on suspicion of possessing narcotics. It was also stated that r 200-300 people also were brought in from the Fest this weekend, also on drug-related charges.
Now why do Reggae artist feel they can go and smoke a doobie in someone else's country? I feel "all" of them went down there for questioning.
