Well they say, "out of the mouth of babes." This is exactly how one year old Gaviann Johnson saved her grandfather, Hilton Buchanan.

Hilton, went to use the bathroom and Gaviann, went inside with him. Minutes later, a frantic child returned. "She came back outside and she said to me, 'granddad bottom'. I thought she was saying that granddad spanked her so I said to her 'ok, I'm gonna go inside and spank granddad for you'. When I said that she started to cry and said, 'granddad hurt'." This reported by Hilton's wife, "Dalsie Buchanan."

Dem A Cut Everyting in Half Mon

Ackee and Saltfish Pictures, Images and Photos

Well, I guess it takes Jamaica to be this innovative. They are now cutting everything in half and selling it at reduced prices. Remember, when you could buy one cigarette, well those days are coming back.

The 'bargain' does not end there as shoppers are also able to purchase slices of bread (with a 'swipe' of butter), half a bulla, a single sanitary napkin and syrup in a bag. WOW!, what next? Half a pencil and you have the lead part and you have to sit next to someone with the eraser part (or as we say in Jamaica deh rubba).

Lawd!

Gang of Housebreakers Stealing and Eating Baby Cereal

Has it come to this? If you live anywhere near the Portmore Area, it seems that a gang of housebreakers have been cleaning out people's homes, only pausing to mix their favourite drink, baby cereal.

So, these people have the nerve not only to break into the homes but steal the baby formula and "mix it and eat it" as well. Sad. Detective Constable Lloyd Knight, told THE STAR that the thieves have become so slick at their 'trade' that only a little evidence is left for the police. "After they break into the houses, they mix baby feed and have even snacks to eat before leaving with items," he said.

The police state that so far close to 50 houses have been broken into and in at least 10 of the cases, baby cereals were stolen or drank at the scene of the crime.

Beenie Man says, "It wasn't Me"

http://www.jahmusic.net/novizky/beenie_box.jpg

Well, claims are out there that Beenie Man (who we also know as "The Doctor) took a 2 million dollar bribe to perform at the Boxing Day Show called, "Sting." According to Beenie Man, " Laing afta him threaten mi sey if mi guh pon radio guh talk sem mi nah do Sting again mi a guh get it"

Isaiah Laing, is currently the promoter of the Sting tour. Beenie Man claims he is definitely not going to perform this year. According to the Jamaican Star, Beenie claims he is not going to perform this year.

I like Beenie Man, however I feel that some of his popularity has gone to his head. Yes, he is a good artist but when you miss shows or say you are cancelling gigs, fans can sometimes not be that forgiving. I thing with Mavado and Bounty Killa being on the list that nobody is not really caring if Beenie show up or not. As for the money, he probably was offered the money to perform, wheter he took the money or not is another story.
